Beth Verge first became part of the Channel 2 team in February of 2016, starting as a reporter and multimedia journalist for the award winning Morning Edition.
The Midwest native comes straight from Chicago, after obtaining her Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University. She is ecstatic about being part of the KTUU family and having the opportunity to explore Alaska and its many unique people, places and traditions!
Beth got her start in broadcast television, while pursuing her undergraduate degree at Butler University. She also interned at WNDU TV in South Bend, Indiana, and then spent a year at WTHR TV in Indianapolis.
A cross country and track athlete throughout high school and into college,
Beth is an avid sports fan.
In her spare time, Beth loves watching and going to games. Some of her other favorite hobbies are traveling, cooking and playing guitar.
