Byron Girard Davis Byron Girard Davis transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born on March 23, 1984 in Marion, South Carolina. He was the last child of four children born to Raymond, Jr. and Sallie Davis. Byron was joined in holy matrimony to Quanketa Tiesha Moses Davis on March 25, 2006. He was a loving and devoted husband. Byron and Tiesha had very loving marriage and enjoyed spending every moment together. Byron was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and received the gift of the Holy Ghost in July 2001. Davis, Sr. Byron worked as the national media director and bass guitar player. He had a love for music since he was a little boy. His first love was the drums but as he got older he fell in love with the bass guitar. He loved his church and he worked in whatever capacity he was needed. He attended the public school system in Marion, South Carolina. He graduated from Marion High School in 2002. At the time of his transition he was attending Limestone College. Byron was very smart and skillful with computers and electronics. His family and friends called him “Mr. Handy Man”. Byron was formerly employed at Harbor Freight Tools in Dillon, SC, Continental Tires in Sumter, SC and Otis Elevators in Florence, SC. Byron was a faithful worker at Davis Funeral Service, LLC. He enjoyed working in the family business. He worked in whatever capacity his parents needed him. Byron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Deacon Lonzer and Sis.
